WWE Suspends Rich Swann Following Arrest For Domestic Incident

As noted, 205 Live star Rich Swann was arrested and charged with Kidnapping and False Imprisonment, as well as Battery, following an incident with his girlfriend in Gainesville, Florida this morning.

Now that the news has became public knowledge and gained a considerable amount of media attention, WWE has responded by suspending Swann.

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Rich Swann has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest,” said the company in a statement released today.

The suspension falls in accordance with WWE’s Domestic Abuse Policy, which confirms that Swann will be released from the company if convicted.

“Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended,” reads WWE’s Domestic Abuse Policy. “Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”
