— ECW General Manager Theodore Long kicked off last night’s edition of ECW by saying former ECW Champion Matt Hardy was leaving the brand for SmackDown. The move comes after Hardy’s betrayal of his own brother, former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, at the Royal Rumble. Long said Hardy asked for his release and the GM OK’d the move to the blue brand. Hardy’s profile has been moved back to the SmackDown section.
— Mickie James will be the next WWE star to appear at Ohio Valley Wrestling’s headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. James will be making her appearance on Tuesday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m. the Davis Arena, located at 4400 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
