Rusev vs. Mark Henry
We shoot things back to the ring where we see Lana has joined the gang on commentary for this next match.
Out first comes the duo of Rusev and Summer Rae, followed by Rusev’s opponent this evening — Mark Henry. The bell sounds and here we go.
Rusev and Henry mix things up early on and Lana gets up early on to take out Summer Rae outside the ring. Lana ends up in the ring at Rusev’s feet. She stands up but Summer attacks her from behind and the referee calls for the bell to put an end to this match.
Mark Henry tries to get involved but Rusev nails him and sends him into the steel steps. Summer unloads on Lana and slams her face into the mat while Rusev looks on. Rusev pulls Summer up and then tells her to crush Lana. Summer stomps and applies The Accolade on Lana before leaving her laying face down. Rusev and Summer raise their arms as a giant Bulgarian flag lowers from the ceiling.
Winner via Disqualification: Mark Henry
Neville vs. King Barrett
It’s time for our next match here on Monday Night Raw, and unfortunately for Neville and/or King Barrett fans, this one didn’t last long at all. We head to a commercial break before things get rolling.
We return from the commercial to see King Barrett is wrapping up his entrance and finishing his walk to the ring. Out next is his opponent for tonight, Neville. We see Stephen Amell watching on from ringside.
The bell sounds and here we go. Barrett’s size and strength overpower the smaller former NXT Champion early on. In the end, however, Neville catches Barrett with a big kick that drops “The King.” From there, he follows up with his top-rope “Red Arrow” finisher.
Winner: Neville
After The Match
Once the match is over, Stardust hits the ring and attacks Neville. He then goes outside of the ring and gets in Stephen Amell’s face in the crowd. Stardust pie-faces him, ala Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow in the 1990s. Amell chases after Stardust and ends up getting a hold of him in the ring. Security ends up hitting the ring to break things up.
Backstage: Triple H & Stephen Amell
Backstage, Triple H is pissed at what just happened with Stephen Amell. Amell asks HHH to let he and Neville handle things themselves. Triple H tells Amell he’ll never be a WWE Superstar. Regardless, HHH ends up making the match, as long as the appropriate paperwork is signed beforehand. We go to another break.
