After The Match
Once the match is officially in the books, Team B.A.D. hits the ring and attacks Team Bella, only for Team P.C.B. (Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch) to hit the ring as well. All hell breaks loose among the nine Divas. In the end, Team Bella, in true heel fashion, retreats to the back while Team B.A.D. and Team P.C.B. have a stare-off in the ring. We head to another commercial break on that note.
The New Day vs. Los Matadores
Now it’s time to return to the ring here in Everett, Washington, as Los Matadores and El Torito are already waiting for their opponents for this evening.
With that said, The New Day’s music hits and out comes the trio clapping and dancing like lunatics. As usual, Big E. and Kofi Kingston represent The New Day in this two-on-two tag-team contest.
Xavier Woods, also as usual, sticks around at ringside to yell like a crazy person, and despite the fact that he’s not holding a microphone, you can pretty much hear everything he is saying — 99.9 percent of which is annoying, which is basically his job.
All hell breaks loose in the finish for this match, much like the previous Divas bout, as Woods hit the apron to provide a distraction, only to be taken out by El Torito. However, the job got done regardless, as it was enough of a distraction for Big E. to score the pinfall victory in the ring. After the match, we shoot back to another commercial break.
Winners: The New Day
Backstage: Prime Time Players, Seattle Seahawks & The New Day
We see pre-recorded video footage of The Prime Time Players — Titus O’Neil and Darren Young — hanging out with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, as WWE is near their home field with RAW emanating from Everett, Washington tonight.
After that, Renee Young catches up with The New Day, who are in the middle of celebrating their recent victory. Their celebration is short-lived, however, as Renee Young informs them that they will be in a fatal-four-way match at WWE SummerSlam, taking on Los Matadores, The Lucha Dragons and the WWE Tag-Team Champion Prime Time Players for the WWE tag-titles.
Backstage: Triple H & Seth Rollins
From there, we shoot to another room backstage where we see Triple H talking with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Hunter and Rollins talk about the fact that Rollins will be defending his title against the winner of the aforementioned triple-threat match tonight on RAW. HHH gets Rollins pumped up so much so that by the time he leaves, he’s convinced that because John Cena can do it every week, so can he — only better. We head back to a commercial.
Number One Contenders Match
– Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Randy Orton
After the break, we shoot back live inside the arena in Everett, Washington, where Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are already in the ring. Out next is the third participant in this triple-threat number one contenders match — Cesaro.
The bell sounds and here we go. Owens immediately ducks an instant RKO attempt. Owens then focuses his attack on Cesaro, however Cesaro and Orton align momentarily to take out the former NXT Champion.
From there, things get plain crazy, as each guy takes turns hitting big moves, signature moves, double-team moves. Pretty much any-and-everything included in a pro wrestling playbook is featured in this contest.
In the end, however, Owens goes for his Pop-Up Powerbomb finisher on Cesaro, however “The King of Swing” managed to avoid it, and instead, Owens walks right into an “RKO out of nowhere” by Orton, which “The Viper” follows up by delivering a second RKO to Cesaro. 1-2-3. Orton wins the match and earns the right to challenge Rollins for the WWE title later this evening.
Winner and NEW Number One Contender: Randy Orton
