Hi,
Just got back from the WWE House Show in Manchester, England. Good crowd,
good atmosphere.
Lot of kids in Roman Reigns shirts and quite a few adults wearing them as
well.
Cesaro defeated Stardust when Stardust submitted to the Sharpshooter
Darren Young & Zack Ryder defeated The Social Outcasts (Bo Dallas & Heath
Slater) when Ryder pinned Dallas. Young was the only wrestler to get no
reaction from the crowd.
Rusev beat Jack Swagger via submission. Swagger carried the Union Jack.
The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) retained the tag titles against
The Dudley Boyz and The Usos.
Sin Cara pinned Tyler Breeze. Sin Cara was massively over with the youngsters
there.
Charlotte retained the Womens Title against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch when
she pinned Becky Lynch. Crowd loved Becky and sang her theme tune. Charlotte
got a lukewarm reception as everyone was waiting to see if Ric Flair was
there. He was and once he walked out the crowd exploded.
Roman Reigns pinned Sheamus following a spear to retain the WWE Heavyweight
Title. Reigns was so over with the kids, they loved him. Adult males booed
the hell out of him and chanted for AJ Styles. Sheamus sang ‘You’ll never
walk alone’ which is the anthem of Liverpool FC and got massive heat from the
Manchester crowd. He was great at playing the heel.
