WarnerMedia Still Deciding on Date & Time of New All Elite Wrestling Show

— With AEW officially a weekly TV show on TNT to begin in the fall, there is still nothing definitive on the date/time. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter though, the show will likely be live on either Tuesday or Wednesday – the decision coming down to “market research” that WarnerMedia will be conducting.

— The Observer notes that the value of a wrestling show on Tuesday is that it is a “creature of habit” for wrestling fans and even more so that the likely time slot would be between 8-10 PM, the same slot that Smackdown would be vacating. The downside of a Tuesday show is that TNT airs basketball games which would obviously take precedence. A Wednesday show – while not something wrestling fans are used to – would ensure fewer changes and the ability to run a full two hours pretty much every week.
