Wagner’s Memorial: Netherlands are coming, Bulgaria was invited too

After Russia confirmed their arrival, we know another participant of Hubert Jerzy Wagner’s Memorial 2013. After massive successes in the 90’s (for example Olympic championship 1996, gold medal of the World League 1996, silver on World Championships 1994). Netherlands have disappeared from the top of volleyball world for the while.

Lately, they’ve started to return. They came back to World League and they showed us how to beat Brazil. All fans of “Oranje” are hoping for a quite good result during incoming European Championships Poland-Denmark 2013.

All we know for now is that they are coming to participate in Wagner’s Memorial. Polish fans already know some of their players for PlusLiga: Rob Bontje (Jastrzebski Wegiel) and Wytze Kooistra (Skra Belchatow) can feel almost like home among Polish courts and atmosphere.

Also Bulgaria admits they did receive an invitation to join friendly tournament. There are also rumors that Serbia (European Champion 2011) and Italy (bronze medalist of Olympic Games 2012) were in the circle of interest of Polish Federation.
