Tyler Breeze Returns to NXT Again, Miz & Asuka, Meet Dan Matha

Don’t be fooled by his flamboyant persona and recent tag team with Fandango, Raw Superstar Tyler Breeze is perhaps one of the most charismatic and athletic members of the WWE roster. Breeze proved is during his time in NXT, and ever since Fandango went down with an injury earlier this year and put the Fashion Police tag team on hiatus as a result, Breeze has been appearing at NXT live events occasionally for some matches. Once again, Breeze made a surprise appearance during an NXT live event earlier this weekend in Warren, Ohio. “Prince Pretty” challenged Ricochet for the North American Championship, but he was ultimately defeated by “The One and Only.” A clip of the match can be viewed down below:

As most WWE fans know by now, the Mixed Match Challenge will be returning for another season very soon. The new tournament will once again see male and female WWE roster members team up with the winners of the tournament earning $100,000 for the charity of their choosing. The first tournament took place earlier this year and it saw the unique team of The Miz and Asuka emerge as the winners. Hoping to replicate their success for the next Mixed Match Challenge, Miz met with Asuka backstage and guaranteed that they will win the show all over again. Can the winners of the first Mixed Match Challenge tournament do it again? Fans will find out once the second season of the show premieres each Tuesday night at 10pm ET starting on September 18th on Facebook Watch.

Fans of WWE may not be too familiar with the name Dan Matha, but the aspiring wrestler is currently competing on NXT live events and is training in the WWE Performance Center. Matha has only made a few onscreen appearances for NXT in the past, and he recently competed in the 50-man Royal Rumble match during The Greatest Royal Rumble event earlier this year. The official NXT Twitter account has posted a new video allowing fans to meet Dan Matha and get to know him better. Matha’s great size could definitely help make him a major star for the company some day.
