Turin, Ainge named NWAC Players of the Week

Clackamas sophomore Presley Turin and Douglas sophomore Keeley Ainge were named the NWAC Softball Players of the Week for contests played April 10-16. Additionally Turin was selected the Softball Under Armour Player of the Week.

Turin, a native of Sandy, Ore., hit .538 (7-for-13) with a double, triple and two home runs. She drove in 10 runs in helping the Cougars to four wins over Mt Hood and Lower Columbia.

Ainge guided the Royals to three wins last week by allowing just one earned run over 14.1 innings of work. The Lander, B.C. native tossed a six-inning shutout against Pierce.
