Tony Khan: Expect AEW All In card changes due to ‘things happening in the real world’

According to the man who is putting the show together, AEW head Tony Khan revealed during Tuesday's media call that he expects changes for Sunday's All In pay-per-view from London's Wembley Stadium.

"There will be adjustments to the card — some of them have been planned from the beginning, some are things we're dealing with on the fly," he said.

He didn't go into specifics as to what the changes will be and when they will be announced. Both Dynamite (live) and Saturday's Collision (taped) will be held this Wednesday while Rampage was taped last Saturday.

It doesn't appear those changes will be for the AEW Tag Team title match between FTR vs. the Young Bucks despite Cash Wheeler's arrest last week for aggravated assault with a firearm. As of Tuesday morning, it was reported Wheeler was expected for the show with Khan saying on the call that he is taking the situation seriously but doesn't have all the facts as of now.

"I expect more changes. They were not changes I wanted to make or planned to make," he said. "There will probably be some changes to the card necessitated by things happening in the real world, stuff in some cases that is nobody's fault, but stuff that is not related to the world of professional wrestling."

He said he is going to work through things this week to hopefully make the card better, but the changes won't be anything that will affect the quality of the show. He said he will be able to explain more after the show is over and that these weren't changes he's had even a week or two to be prepared for.

Khan said he is grateful none of the changes will affect the main event of AEW World Champion MJF defending against Adam Cole. He said the success of their storyline has been "a blessing" for both the company and the card.

Khan said Bryan Danielson was someone he wanted to have prominently involved in the show in "a main match," but that his injury was a fluke thing. Additionally, he wanted Jamie Hayter and PAC to both be prominently involved on All In but their availability due to injury changed "a lot of plans" as well.
