It’s been a big couple of days in the news of the red and yellow, and there is more news reported this morning by PWInsider.com. It appears that Hulk Hogan appeared on WIP Radio this morning for an interview with Howard Eskin in Philadelphia, PA. After Hulk Hogan had left the show, Eskin noted that Hogan was close to a deal that would bring him back to the WWE.

All of this comes on the heels of a TMZ report that Hogan was close to a deal with WWE, and that they had had positive conversations back and forth. WWE has since issued a statement,  which you can read below, noting that Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE, despite talks reportedly progressing between both sides:

“WWE applauds the work Hulk Hogan is doing with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to turn what was a negative into a positive by helping young people learn from his mistake. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE.”
