Take Another Look at Captain Marvel With Brand New Footage

During the College Football Playoff National Championship, viewers were treated to a brand new look at the upcoming Captain Marvel film.

This newest trailer focuses on Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and the younger Nick Fury, but also gives us another peek at some new and familiar faces.

This special footage also discusses the two alien species, Kree and Skrull, and you can learn even more about the villainous, shape-shifting Skrull in our Explained series.

Also shown are Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson, Jude Law’s mysterious character and members of Starforce, as well as Lee Pace’s Ronan the Accuser, who first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Unfortunately, we don’t get another look at Captain Marvel’s cat, Goose, who appeared in the film’s second trailer.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019, just a month before Captain Marvel will appear in Avengers: Endgame on April 26, 2019.

Until then, be sure to check out how Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel movie will fit into the MCU before Avengers: Endgame, which will continue the tale following the tragic events of Avengers: Infinity War.

You can also read on why we believe that now is the perfect time for Captain Marvel’s debut and how Brie Larson crafted and is owning this role as, according to Marvel Studio’s president Kevin Feige, the most powerful hero in the MCU.
