SigAlert: 605/60 Freeway Transition Pileup Halts Morning Rush Hour

LOS ANGELES, CA — A pileup on the transition from the San Gabriel (605) Freeway to the Pomona (60) Freeway brought rush hour traffic to a halt Thursday morning.

The California High Patrol has issued a SigAlert for the area.

The crash involving a truck and at least two sedans on the southbound side of the freeway was reported just after 6:30 a.m., and the SigAlert remained in place as of 8:15 a.m. The crash damaged roughly 20-feet of chainlink fencing alongside the freeway, and it wasn’t clear when the damage would be repaired.
