Shane McMahon Promises Big “Change” Coming to Smackdown Live After Embarrassing Survivor Series Loss

Survivor Series did not end well for team blue, as the superstars of Monday Night Raw ran through Smackdown Live in a “clean sweep”, destroying the competition in SIX victories to none.

In case you missed it, both Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey won their singles matches over their Smackdown counterparts (although Rousey “won” her match via DQ).

The newly crowned Raw Tag Team Champions AOP also put down veterans Cesaro and Sheamus, the Raw men’s team had three monstrous survivors remaining, Nia Jax carried the ladies to victory (and was booed out of the building), and Seth Rollins put down Shinsuke Nakamura with a devastating Curb Stomp.

Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon, who took an insane beating during the five-on-five men’s Survivor Series match and was the final member of his team eliminated, took to social media after his loss to announce that “change” was coming to Tuesday nights, after the brand disappointed at Sunday’s big PPV event.

TEHCNICALLY… Despite what WWE is pushing, the Raw brand did not have a “clean sweep” at Survivor Series. During the kickoff, The Usos led Smackdown to victory in a massive 20-man tag team elimination match. But apparently the points scored on the pre-show don’t actually matter…

This wasn’t the night I had in mind for Team Blue.
Tomorrow is a new day, but something is going to have to change come Tuesday. #SurvivorSeries
