WWE’s Starrcade event took place on Saturday, November 24. Social media was bombarded with news on matches, spots and the return of Bray Wyatt. But even though The Eater of Worlds came back to face Baron Corbin, the two did not work the main event.
That match featured former Shield brothers Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. According to several Tweets, the Cincinnati crowd was firmly in the corner of hometown heel Ambrose as he battled The Kingslayer. Dean’s recent heel turn has been the talk of the wrestling world over the past few weeks and that’s continued leading up to Starrcade.
Though Rollins and Ambrose have yet to wage war on TV, they stepped inside a steel cage on November 24. The Lunatic Fringe may have had some momentum going into the match but this night belonged to Rollins, who won the bout.
The ironic part about Starrcade is that fans seemed to have a wide range of varying opinions regarding the overall quality of the event.
#WWEStarrcade Why do people go to this garbage event?
All the matches were rubbish.

WWE will present a one hour version of the three plus hour Starrcade event on Sunday, November 25. The main event will definitely be the highlight for many WWE fans who have been heavily anticipating the Rollins versus Ambrose feud.
The two men are booked for TLC on December 16. Rollins’ Intercontinental Championship will be on the line when the two former Shield members step into the ring. The third Shield member, Roman Reigns, continues to remain on the sidelines. The former Universal champion is currently battling leukemia and there is no timetable for his return to action in WWE.
@wwerollins & #DeanAmbrose are finally locked in. #WWEStarrcade #SteelCage
