Last month at WWE TLC, after taking a brutal beating at the hands of Charlotte Flair, RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey set an example by issuing an open challenge just 24 hours after successfully defending her title.

She claimed the ability to perform at 100% should be required of all champions, and put that mentality to the test once again tonight on WWE RAW, issuing yet another open challenge for her title just one night after the Royal Rumble, where she narrowly survived an encounter with “The Boss” Sasha Banks.

Who would answer the call? Why, yet another member of the original NXT Four Horsewomen, Bayley, who herself had an impressive performance in the annual 30-Woman Royal Rumble match. While the Hugger put up a valiant fight, trying to work over injuries planted by her best friend Banks the night before, “Rowdy” Ronda was ultimately able to apply her patented armbar and secure the victory.
