Rey Mysterio made his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling this Sunday afternoon at the historic Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. The three-time WWE world champion and master of the 619 took part in a star-studded six-man tag team match, partnering with juniors greats Kushida and Ryusuke Taguchi to take on Kazuchika Okada and the high-flying Chaos boys from Roppongi 3K.

This weekend’s appearance will more than likely be Mysterio’s final booking for New Japan, amid rumors that he will be returning to WWE following his upcoming commitment to ALL IN on September 1st. You can check out photos and videos from his neon entrance and exciting matchup below.
