Randy Orton returning to WWE in Survivor Series WarGames match

Randy Orton is heading to Survivor Series.

The end of Monday’s Raw saw Drew McIntyre win the WarGames advantage from Jey Uso. McIntyre announced himself as part of the Bloodline’s team at Survivor Series earlier in the night as their fifth member. Cody Rhodes and the rest of Uso’s team came to the ring with chairs for the save. Rhodes revealed that he has a "legacy" with the fifth man on their team. After mentioning phrases like “prey” and “apex predator”, Rhodes said the crowd (who were chanting for Orton) weren’t hearing voices in their head, they were right.

WWE on X then confirmed Orton as the fifth participant on Rhodes' team:

Orton has been out of action since May of 2022 with a back injury that required fusion surgery on his lower back. Back in September, Orton was seen training at the WWE Performance Center, and it was reported last month that he was expected to return by Survivor Series.
