Omega vs. Moose World title match set for Impact Against All Odds

Omega vs. Moose World title match set for Impact Against All Odds

Moose will challenge for Kenny Omega’s Impact World title at Against All Odds, set for Saturday, June 12th on Impact Plus.

He earned the opportunity at Saturday’s Under Siege on Impact Plus in a six-way match that also included Trey Miguel, Chris Bey, Matt Cardona, Chris Sabin and Sami Callihan.

The finish saw Sabin hit the cradle shock, but Moose kicked out and then hit three spears on Sabin to pick up the win. After the match, Moose said that he was coming back for what was his, refering to his previous run as TNA World Champion.

Moose recently lost the TNA title to then-champion Rich Swann in a unification bout before Swann lost both titles to Omega at last month’s Rebellion. Omega and Moose were on opposite sides of a six-man tag at January’s Hard to Kill in Omega’s first in-ring action for Impact.

This will be Omega’s first title defense while Moose has never won the Impact World title, but has twice held the now-defunct Grand Championship.

The match saw the Good Brothers interfere to take out Callihan who was using weapons to gain an advantage in the match.

Omega, also the AEW World Champion and AAA Mega Champion, was also in action at Under Siege, teaming with the Good Brothers in a losing effort to Tag Team Champions FinJuice and Eddie Edwards.
