At the Ring Of Honor (ROH) television tapings in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday evening, the main event for the upcoming Crockett Cup special event in April was announced.
After asking Marty Scurll to be his tag-team partner in the actual Crockett Cup 2019 Tag-Team Tournament, NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis was caught off guard by an unexpected challenge from his lifelong friend.
The challenge was ultimately accepted, and the Aldis vs. Scurll match for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship is now officially confirmed for the Crockett Cup event, which goes down on April 27th at Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina.
