NFCA announces partnership with Triple Crown Sports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce it has agreed to a three-year sponsorship agreement with Triple Crown Sports (TCS). This partnership will focus on a combined effort to enhance the way in which players, parents and coaches gain information and valuable knowledge about the sport of softball.

“We are excited to welcome Triple Crown as an “NFCA Official Sponsor” as it has been a leader in the sports industry for many years,” said NFCA executive director Carol Bruggeman. “Triple Crown provides first-class events and creates a positive experience for participant and NFCA member coaches. The fastpitch Travel Ball community has seen unprecedented growth in recent years. Because of this growth, Triple Crown chose to support NFCA educational opportunities, and we believe this partnership will help coaches of all levels continue to learn and grow. (Triple Crown CEO) Dave King and his staff are innovative, driven and passionate about fastpitch softball and grown the softball community.”

The NFCA will help distribute TCS content on its website nfca.org and via social media, which includes educational articles drawn from the company’s extensive experience in producing tournaments and fielding its own competitive slate of fastpitch teams as well as providing access to national team rankings in multiple age groups through US Club Rankings.

As an official sponsor, TCS will use its website and social media presence to share the NFCA’s arsenal of information on the many facets of fastpitch – training, game strategies, trends, personal interest stories and more. It will be the lead sponsor of NFCA “Tip Tuesdays” via social media and NFCA “Inside Pitch”, the bi-weekly email to members.

“With the NFCA’s status as the only major coaching body in the game, we want to do all we can to be a part of the education process,” said King. “Coaches who are educated are difference makers in our sport. We are happy to be part of this massive educational push led by the NFCA.”

In addition, TCS will play a prominent role at the NFCA’s annual convention, while the NFCA will have a presence at several of TCS’ largest fastpitch events.
