— Despite her back issues, Torrie Wilson flew to Japan to take part in promotional appearances for WWE last week. Torrie recently announced her retirement from the ring due to the back problems.
— Sunday’s “Media & Advertising” section of the New York Times featured a piece on JBL’s new energy drink “Mamajuana”. JBL described the drink by saying, “It’s more of a sex potion….Think of it as liquid Viagra.”
— While WWE has yet to announce which 8 superstars will be competing in tonight’s King of the Ring tournament, we can confirm that talent from all three brands are scheduled to be backstage at tonight’s 3-hour RAW special. This is a good indication that superstars form RAW, SmackDown & ECW will be involved.
