Mandy Rose replied to a tweet by the WWE official account on Thursday, saying she feels ready to challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka for the belt.
Rose seems like she’s in line for a big push from WWE as she’s had a lot of TV time as of late in her feud with former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi. God’s Greatest Creation will also team with her bestie Sonya Deville in the Elimination Chamber Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Meanwhile, Asuka has not worked a match since getting Becky Lynch to tap out in the Asuka Lock to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble. With rumors swirling that Charlotte Flair will be included in the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania and with her currently being advertised for a match with Lynch at Fastlane in March, it doesn’t seem likely either Lynch or Flair will challenge Asuka for the belt any time soon.
