WWE has confirmed a major singles match for WWE SmackDown next week as the build towards WWE’s Royal Rumble continues to intensify.

Lacey Evans will be going one on one with Sasha Banks next week in what should be a very emotional match. Evans has yet to truly get her hands on the Legit Boss since she antagonised her daughter at ringside several weeks ago, and this will be her golden opportunity to do so.

Evans and her tag team partner, Dana Brooke did pin Sasha Banks last night on WWE SmackDown in a triple threat tag team match, also featuring Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

WWE is clearly pushing towards Lacey Evans challenging Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a match that could potentially happen at the WWE Royal Rumble event.
