All Elite Wrestling has announced that Kenny Omega will defend the AAA Mega Championship this Wednesday night, against Jack Evans of The Hybrid 2. The bout will be taped for AEW DARK and will air next Tuesday night, Nov. 26th.

There is actually some very interesting significance behind this otherwise seemingly random matchup. Evans has spent roughly the last 12 years of his life wrestling for AAA in Mexico. He is a four-time AAA World Tag Team Champion, and has won and defended gold at Triplemanias for years.
