Jake Hager On Rediscovering His Real Skills, Using WWE Exposure For MMA

Former WWE Superstar and soon-to-be Bellator MMA fighter Jake “Jack Swagger” Hager recently spoke with Paul Guzzo of the Tampa Bay Times about his upcoming fighting debut. Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On rediscovering his amateur wrestling skills when making the transition from pro wrestling to MMA ahead of his Bellator MMA debut: “But this isn’t only amateur wrestling. It’s mixed martial arts. There are many disciplines I need to be good at. But I’m ready.”

On using his WWE exposure to his advantage: “One of the best pieces of advice I ever got in professional wrestling was use the exposure from cable’s number one rated television show to transition and move on to what you want to go into next.”
