East coast independent pro wrestler James “Rude Boy” Riley was arrested in early 2017 on multiple counts of “promoting/possessing a sexual performance by a child”, after New York police raided his family home and found evidence of child pornography.

According to silive.com, Riley recently pleaded guilty to a felony count of child pornography and is currently free on a $3,500 bond. He’ll be on interim-supervision probation for two years and could face a whole five days in jail if he follows the terms of his sentence with no issues. He is scheduled for another court date on April 18th.

“Possession of a sexual performance or obscene sexual performance by a child” is considered a Class E felony in the state of New York, punishable by up to four years in prison, with a fine of up to $5,000 per count. Riley will have to register federally as a sex offender for the rest of his life, but given the potential charges he could be facing, it goes without saying that he was let off easy.
