According to PWInsider.com, Impact Wrestling officially announced today that its April 22nd Redemption PPV will take place in Orlando, FL at the Impact Zone.

The Impact Wrestling Redemption PPV was originally rumored to take place in Toronto, however the venue was never booked and the decision was made to host the PPV at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Part of the speculation regarding Redemption taking place in Toronto was fueled by wrestling legend Scott Steiner ‘breaking the news’ at one of Impact’s recent television tapings that the company would be returning to Toronto for Redemption. In classic Steiner fashion, it looks like “Big Poppa Pump” may have spoken out of turn. Following the Steiner slip, the roster was instructed not to mention anything about Toronto as the destination for the April 22nd PPV, as no decision had been made at the time.
