Evergreen Park Teen Missing 2 Weeks, Sister Pleads For Information

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A 15-year-old girl from Evergreen Park has not been seen in over two weeks, and her older sister is urgently seeking information on her whereabouts.

Reports of Julianna Preston, who has been missing since Nov. 25, have been flooding neighborhood social media. The teen was last seen in the area of 98th Street and Lawndale. She had been living in Evergreen Park with her older sister the past year and is originally from the Steger area.

Preston’s sister, Kayla Corcoran, told Patch that her younger sister has run away on past occasions, sometimes disappearing for a week or more.

“She has been living with me for the past year and was doing well,” Corcoran said, asking for Julianna’s friends to call her 708-673-8804.

Preston is 5-feet tall with long, brownish/reddish hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black Guess coat with gold accents, and short Juicy boots with gold accents. Preston likes wearing makeup and eyelashes. She likes going to car meets and street takeovers. Corcoran said her sister also frequents Chicago’s downtown area.

The missing teen did not attend school. Her sister said they were working on getting her enrolled in school as a freshman.

“We have no clue where she could be,” her sister posted on Facebook. “She is a runaway and might not respond well to being approached. If you see her, please call the police with her location or the license plate of the car she might be in.”

Lt. Wendi Franklin, of the Evergreen Park Police Department, confirmed that the teen’s family filed a police report.

“Detectives are actively looking for the juvenile and are following all leads,” Franklin said.
