CARLSBAD, CA —They say the best camera is the one you have with you. Carlsbad resident Judy Farley recently snapped this golden “sunset highway” on her cell phone camera while driving by Moonlight Beach.
“I am a ‘senior’ living in Carlsbad, California, with my husband, Jim, and we’ve lived here since 1978,” Farley told Patch. “We have watched our little community continue to grow and blossom.”
Farley took the attached photo using her Apple iPhone.
“It was taken from my car as my husband and I drove to Moonlight Beach to watch the sunset,” she said. “We didn’t have time to park or leave the car to capture the rare moment.
“The sunset was happening, and I rolled down our car’s window and snapped the shot!”
