Braun Strowman will be getting his rematch against Sami Zayn as Raw kicks off 2017 in Tampa, Florida next week.
Strowman has been on a rampage in storyline since Zayn survived 10 minutes with him at Roadblock: End of the Line. But in a backstage segment with Stephanie McMahon on last night’s Raw, Strowman was granted a last man standing match against Zayn next week.
In advance of their match, the two got physical on the show as Zayn interrupted Strowman’s match against Seth Rollins to cause a disqualification.
The build to the Royal Rumble is also expected to pick up on next week’s episode with Goldberg scheduled to return to television.
Last night’s Raw also saw two matches booked for tonight’s episode of 205 Live. Neville will get a match against WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann, and Jack Gallagher will face Ariya Daivari in what is being billed as a “gentleman’s duel.”
