A little over one week after the “Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose said his final farewell to the WWE Universe, allowing his contract with the company to expire, the man formerly known as Jon Moxley reemerged with a chilling video that has set social media ablaze.

The former world champion is the focus of his new video, which you can check out below, as he physically breaks his way out of what appears to be a prison — or perhaps, an “Asylum” — and sets out onto the city streets of West Hollywood, California dragging blood and barbed wire behind him with every step.

Moxley has changed his Twitter handle to @JonMoxley with a bio that simply reads, “professional wrestler.” The video was posted just after midnight on May 1st, leading to his name trending worldwide for over two hours.

Prior to signing with WWE, Moxley (whose real name is Jonathan Good) had a lengthy run on the independent scene, known for his violent in-ring style and dark, generally vulgar promos.
