"Being the Elite" Video Hints That Kenny Omega Will Be Joining AEW Next Week

— The Young Bucks released their latest video in the “Being the Elite” series (ep. 136) and at the end there was a scene where Matt Jackson was implied to be talking to Kenny Omega, who had lost his phone in a previous episode. Jackson commented on the phone being found was also heard saying “I can’t believe people thought you would be there.” At the end, Matt said he would see him soon, hung up and left. The phone was then flipped over reveal a countdown timer that was going to end 9 days, 19 hours and approximately 5 minutes later.

— Doing the math, that would mean the countdown would end on 2/7 which is the day of the All Elite Wrestling “Ticket Party”, which certainly seems to imply that Omega will be there as part of the new promotion. His contract with NJPW reportedly ends next week. The video is below and this segment starts at about 20:30.
