Everything you need to know ahead of the Premier League match at Selhurst Park on Sunday
Arsenal will look to continue their amazing run of form on Sunday when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Gunners have won 11 matches in a row in all competitions and picked up another victory on Thursday night when they narrowly beat Sporting 1-0 in Lisbon.
Unai Emery’s side look particularly impressive in the second half of matches and boast a plethora of options in attack, showcased by Danny Welbeck’s winner against Sporting.
Arsenal are currently in fourth place level on points with Chelsea and Tottenham, just two points behind league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool – who also have the same points tally.
Petr Cech is back in full training following a hamstring injury sustained at the end of September against Watford.
Konstantinos Mavropanos is still recovering from a groin injury while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is fit after a small fracture to his left fibula.
Club captain Laurent Koscielny is also back in training, while Nacho Monreal faces a fitness test on a minor hamstring problem.
Arsenal have no suspensions for this game.
Emery made six changes for the victory over Sporting in the Europa League and he’s likely to do the same against Palace.
Alexandre Lacazette will come back into the starting line-up, as could Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Mesut Ozil will return in his favoured No.10 role.
Hector Bellerin looks likely to start at right-back after being rested for the match in Lisbon, with Shkodran Mustafi expected to partner Sokratis Papastathopoulos in defence.
The midfield partnership of Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira also looks set to continue if Nacho Monreal is passed fit.
Alexander Sortloth is expected to return from a virus after missing the 2-0 defeat to Everton at the weekend.
The £9 million ($12m) summer signing will bolster Roy Hodgson’s striking options as Christian Benteke is ruled out with a knee injury.
Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend played upfront against the Toffees but Hodgson could decide to introduce a more natural option in the form of Sorloth following the disappointing result at Goodison Park.
Kick-off is 1:30pm BST (9:30pm ET) on Monday, and the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. It will be shown on NBCSN in the United States, and on various channels around the world.
