– The Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida issued the following statement regarding Monday’s WWE RAW and Tropical Storm Erika: “Amalie Arena and our partners at WWE are aware of Tropical Storm Erika’s potential impact to our area in advance of WWE Raw on Monday, August 31. At this time, the event is not cancelled. However, we are keeping the storm top of mind. We will release any pertinent information as needed.”
– This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown (August 27) scored a 1.62 final rating, down from last week’s 1.7 final draw. The show averaged 2.195 million viewers, down from the average of 2.434 million viewers who tuned into last week’s show.
