A new round-robin tournament will take place in AEW starting later this month.
On Saturday’s Collision, Tony Khan appeared with Bryan Danielson where he announced that a 12-man round robin tournament called the Continental Classic will take place, with the twelve wrestlers being divided into two groups of 6. Danielson, who has been out of action with a broken orbital bone, will be competing in the tournament that starts on the November 22 edition of Dynamite.
Tournament matches will take place across all three of AEW’s television shows starting on November 22, with league finals taking place on the December 27th edition of Dynamite in Orlando, Florida. The tournament finals will take place at AEW’s final pay-per-view event of the year, Worlds End, on December 30 in Long Island.
The segment on Collision also announced that Danielson will be part of next year’s All In event at Wembley Stadium in London, with tickets going on sale December 1. Danielson had missed this year's event due to a broken arm.
