Last week WWE began airing vignettes for a mysterious character coming soon to the NXT brand. Leading speculation was that the video packages were building up the debut of Mae Young Classic finalist and MMA pioneer Shayna Baszler, and this week WWE confirmed that the “Queen of Spades” is in fact heading to Wednesday nights.

Ember Moon Ascends to the Women’s Title

In the video published below, Ember Moon discusses her long journey to the NXT Women’s Championship, which she was finally able to capture last month at NXT Takeover: WarGames. Ember had several other title opportunities in 2017 but was unable to move past the undefeated “Empress” Asuka, and was held back by nagging injuries before finally ascending to the gold in November.
