As seen at WWE Fastlane tonight, Randy Orton defeated Bobby Roode to become the new United States Champion. After the match, Jinder Mahal hit the ring and attacked Orton, and was then attacked by Roode.
Immediately after WWE Fastlane tonight, a new episode of Talking Smack aired on WWE Network, and Orton appeared to discuss Jinder Mahal and his Fastlane Title win. It appears as if tonight’s events might be setting up a possible triple threat scenario with Mahal, Roode and Orton, or a singles match between The Viper and The Modern Day Maharaja:
