ROH announces Women's title tournament fan vote

After two unsuccessful attempts, Quinn McKay is getting one more shot to enter ROH’s Women’s World Championship tournament.

ROH announced tonight that a fan vote is being held on their “ROH The Experience” Facebook page to decide if McKay should get the final spot in the Women’s title tournament. McKay previously lost matches against Angelina Love and Mandy Leon where the stipulation was that she would’ve gotten a spot in the tournament if she won.

Both of the matches that McKay lost included interference. Leon helped Love defeat McKay on ROH TV this May. Leon then defeated McKay on ROH TV earlier this month when Love gave Leon brass knuckles to use as a weapon.

Love is getting a first-round bye in the Women’s title tournament due to her win against McKay.

ROH also announced tonight that Love and Leon will be banned from ringside in each other’s Women’s title tournament matches. McKay will face Leon in the first round if she’s voted into the tournament.

McKay is part of the ROH broadcast team. Her match against Love was her ROH in-ring debut.

The Women’s title tournament will kick off with Miranda Alize vs. Alex Gracia, Mazzerati vs. Nicole Savoy, and Sumie Sakai vs. Rok-C airing on the ROH TV episode that premieres this Saturday. The finals will take place at ROH’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view this September.
