MLW has announced that Austin Aries will compete at the Never Say Never 19 event on July 25 in New York City. Aries’ match will be aired on a future episode of MLW Fusion.

This bout will mark only the third time that Austin has worked in MLW. His two previous appearances included a 2019 match against Adam Books and a 2018 bout with ACH. Aries’ July 25 opponent has yet to be named, but MLW revealed that  a plan is in the works.

League officials are negotiating with an undisclosed wrestler for Aries’ July 25th bout. More details on this match are expected soon.

MLW also stated that Aries is indeed serious about his return to the company, as he’s recently been training with MMA legend and former UFC Heavyweight champion, Frank Mir.

Aries has gained a controversial reputation over the past several years thanks to his outspoken nature on social media, as well as his antics in and outside of the ring, most notably in Impact Wrestling.
