WWE Holds Talent Meeting Addressing Coronavirus; Statement on WrestleMania 36

— WWE held a quick meeting before Monday’s Raw to address the coronavirus situation. There wasn’t much revealed during the session other than the company stating that they are carrying on with business as usual with some tips on what the talent could do to minimize their risk of contracting the virus and assurances that the company is working with local departments – health or otherwise – to continually re-assess the situation.

— The company then released a statement to various media about the status of WrestleMania 36, which not surprisingly reveal that the event is going on as per original plans:

The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay. We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.
