Original Plan For Paige Segment On Last Night's SmackDown

According to PW Insider, former Divas Champion Paige filmed her segment on last night’s SmackDown from Los Angeles and was not actually present at the Performance Center in Orlando. Reports state that she was originally set to fly out to confront SmackDown women’s champion Bayley face-to-face, but plans changed at the last minute and WWE had her just stay put presumably from travel issues due to COVID-19.

Paige announced to Bayley that she will be defending her SmackDown title at WrestleMania in a six-pack challenge against Naomi, Tamina, Lace Evans, Dana Brooke, and Sasha Banks. Watch how the segment played out below.
