With the release of an upcoming documentary based on Andre the Giant premiering on HBO at around the same time as WrestleMania this year, it seemed like a forgone conclusion that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal would return to the event this year. However, Bryan Alvarez recently stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match may not be coming back this year after all. Alvarez said that the plan may be to have a women’s battle royal at the show instead. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been featured on every WrestleMania since 2014. Seeing as how the match debuted in the Superdome in New Orleans, it seems odd that the match may not be returning in the same building this year.
WWE is obviously no stranger to working with celebrities, athletes, and personalities from organizations outside of the company. Case in point, the company just signed former MMA megastar Ronda Rousey to a deal earlier this year. For the most part, those celebrities have not appeared on NXT at all, but WWE just recently announced that former NFL star and Barstool Sports podcaster Pat McAfee will be coming to an NXT event soon and he will be doing more than watching the show in the crowd too. McAfee will be coming to an upcoming NXT live event in Indianapolis to serve as a special guest ring announcer. He will be announcing a six-man tag team match between Kassius Ohno & The Street Profits vs. The Undisputed Era.

Can’t wait for Sunday. Getting a chance to watch some up and coming superstars, and intro them in majestic fashion.. Sunday is a bucket list night for a lifelong wrestling Mark…

Fans have been a bit critical of the tag team division on Monday Night Raw now. With The Shield disbanded once again and now that Titus Worldwide has been vanquished as well, it feels like there is nobody left to go against Sheamus and Cesaro for their Raw Tag Team Championships at the moment. However, Dash Wilder of The Revival just pointed out on Twitter that they have also defeated several different tag teams all across the WWE roster. Wilder definitely suggested that he and his tag team partner Scott Dawson want a shot at the tag team titles, so this could be a sign suggesting the next possible feud for The Bar. Perhaps a match at WrestleMania will be the perfect way to settle the score once and for all.

We beat Slater and Rhyno. Multiple times.
We beat The Club. Multiple times.
We beat New Day. Multiple times.
We beat The Hardy’s.
We beat Titus Worldwide, who just had multiple title matches.
We’ve NEVER had a title match.
Yet, there’s no one left for The Bar to face?
