There have been some reports and increased speculation from fans lately suggesting that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be appearing at WrestleMania this Sunday night as a surprise. Some have claimed that The Rock does have a spot open in his busy schedule to appear at the show, but it was later reported that WWE decided to scrap a planned segment during “The Grandest Stage of Them All” which would have featured The Rock, Jeff Jarrett, and Elias each perform a concert because the company could not get a firm commitment from “The Great One” stating that he would be able to appear at the show. Nevertheless, fans have continued to assume that The Rock will appear at the event in some fashion.
Unfortunately, the actor himself has just informed fans that he will not be able to make it to New Orleans for WrestleMania this weekend. During a recent interview to promote him upcoming Rampage film, Johnson was asked whether or not he will be involved with the pay-per-view in any way, to which Johnson firmly stated that he will not be on the show. “You will not see me there.” The Rock said during the interview when asked about appearing at WrestleMania. The show planned for this Sunday night is absolutely loaded, but there is no doubt that an appearance from “The People’s Champion” would have made the event somehow even more memorable than it already promises to be.
