John Cena is not the only wrestling star linking up with Fox TV for a new series in 2016.

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson announced Tuesday a new show on Fox called “Boost Unit.” The show will focus on “the real life individuals who make up one of the most bad ass (and underground) street units of the LAPD,” according to Johnson.

Johnson is an executive producer for the show along with his ex-wife/business partner Dany Garcia. This will be a co-production of their “Seven Bucks” production company, 20th Century Fox Television, and Imperative Entertainment.

Johnson said the show is inspired by the “Fast & Furious” series that Johnson has become part of in recent installments.

TV EXCLUSIVE: The hunt is on… Our @SevenBucksProd teams with @FOXTV and @ImperativeEnt to bring you a dope new show called #BOOSTUnit. I've had a lot of bad ass fun in the FAST & FURIOUS franchise and this show will capture that kind of intense and entertaining action based off of the real life individuals who make up one of the most bad ass (and underground) street units of the #LAPD. #BOOSTUnit #StreetsOfLA #TheHuntIsOn #SevenBucksProds #ImperativeEnt #FOXTV Let's ride…
