WWE cancels Monday's SmackDown house show in Lowell

WWE has canceled SmackDown’s Monday night house show in Lowell, Massachusetts.

“The WWE Live event scheduled for Monday May 20th at Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict,” the Tsongas Center announced.

“Any tickets purchased via credit card will be automatically refunded. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to take place. Tickets that were purchased with cash at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell Box Office must be returned to the point of purchase in order to be refunded.

“We apologize for the inconvenience.”

The cancelation comes after WWE introduced the Wild Card rule earlier this month. It allows episodes of Raw and SmackDown to feature appearances by a few wrestlers from the other brand.

SmackDown’s house show in Corbin, Kentucky on May 6 was also postponed. That was the night WWE announced the Wild Card rule on Raw.

Money in the Bank is taking place at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on Sunday, with the Times Union Center in Albany, New York hosting Monday’s post-PPV episode of Raw.
