Three Jaish-e-Mohammed Terrorists Killed In Kashmir As Indian Security Forces Step Up Alert Ahead Of Winters

Three Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists were killed by the Indian security forces in an encounter in South Kashmir’s Tral area.

This was one of the biggest encounters in the valley ever since the over two-month-long communication blockade was lifted earlier this month.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbagh Singh, two of the three militants killed could be foreign terrorists.

They had reportedly entered a newly constructed house where the encounter began at 5.00 PM and concluded at about 9.00 PM.

The police chief said that this module of Jaish was involved in the killing of two brothers from the nomadic Gujjar (nomad) community in August this year.
