BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Three separate crashes with cars overturning were reported on Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
On March 28 at around 8:16 a.m., a 2003 Ford Focus, being driven by Lindsay Mayer, 41, of Bound Brook, was traveling south on Chimney Rock Road, south of Gilbride Road, in the area of the “S”- curves, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Frederick J. Brittain III.
The vehicle ran off the roadway to the right, and drove up an embankment causing the vehicle to roll over, said Brittain III.
Mayer was treated for injuries at the scene and released. The crash is currently under investigation.
On March 28 at around 2:05 p.m., a 2007 Toyota Prius, being driven by Katiane Lino, 41, of Bound Brook, was traveling south on Chimney Rock Road, south of Gilbride Road, in the area of the “S”- curves, said Brittain III.
The vehicle ran off the roadway to the right, and drove up an embankment causing the vehicle to roll over, said Brittain III.
Lino was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital (Somerset) for injuries. The crash is currently under investigation.
There was an additional overturn on the S-curves overnight from Wednesday into Thursday however, the report hasn’t been completed yet.
