Coventry Theft Charges Added To Former Glastonbury Cop's Criminal Case

COVENTRY, CT — More charges have been added to the case of a former Glastonbury police officer, already accused of participating in several burglaries in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

This time around, it was in Coventry.

On March 19 Coventry police arrested Patrick Hemingway in connection with three commercial burglaries that occurred on March 29 and April 23 of last year, according to a news release.

Coventry Police collaborated with several other agencies in the ongoing investigation into Hemingway’s activities, according to a news release. Hemingway was charged separately in the three cases and held on a combined $150,000 bond, which was upheld at his arraignment in Rockville Superior Court on the day a warrant was served for the Coventry arrest, judicial system records show.

He is due for a remote hearing in the case on April 23, records show.

The Coventry warrant charged the 37-year-old Hemingway with three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny, a single count of second-degree criminal mischief and a single count of third-degree burglary .

Hemingway now has 13 pending cases listed on the judicial system database.

In addition to the theft-related charges, Hemingway is facing more than 50 charges of felony computer crimes. He is accused of misusing a law enforcement database.
