Although sheer dresses are all the rage, they’re not easy to pull off. Fit is key to the tricky trend, as are the right undergarments to carry the look off properly. Chrissy Teigen is a huge fan of transparent frocks; thus, there was no surprise when we spotted her in a daring LWD in New York City on Monday.
The model spent a date night out with husband John Legend and we’re certain he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. We definitely could not, as her lace stunner was the kind of statement-making piece that turns heads.

The Cravings author accented her dress with contrasting black accents—including a waist-cinching belt, snakeskin clutch, and strappy sandals. Her voluminous waves injected an extra dose of va-va-voom into the already sultry ensemble, while her rosy lips added a pop of color.

We were also completely crushing on John Legend’s black and gold embroidered bomber jacket: We’d be stealing that from his closet in a heartbeat.

This was just days after Teigen’s BFF and stylist Monica Rose had her star-studded baby shower. Naturally, the Lip Sync Battle host was on hand and celebrating with the rest of her glam squad, including makeup artist Mary Phillips and hairstylist Jen Atkin.
